چکیده
For fusing combinatorial game theory with combinatorics on words, we begin with some relevant background on words and automata theory, followed by devising and analyzing a triple of games derived from a generalization of the Thue-Morse word.

Factor frequencies in generalized Thue-Morse words
L'ubomíra Balková We describe factor frequencies of the generalized Thue–Morse word t b,m defined for b ≥ 2, m ≥ 1, b, m ∈ N, as the fixed point starting in 0 of the morphism ϕ b,m (k) = k(k + 1). .. (k + b − 1), where k ∈ {0, 1,. .. , m − 1} and where the letters are expressed modulo m. We use the result of Frid [4] and the study of generalized Thue–Morse words by Starosta [6].
متن کاملOn the structure of compacted subword graphs of Thue-Morse words and their applications
We investigate how syntactic properties of Thue-Morse words are related to special type of automata/graphs. The directed acyclic subword graph (dawg, in short) is a useful deterministic automaton accepting all su xes of the word. Its compacted version (resulted by compressing chains of states) is denoted by cdawg. The cdawgs of Thue-Morse words have regular and very simple structure, in particu...
متن کاملOn the 2-abelian complexity of the Thue-Morse word
We show that the 2-abelian complexity of the infinite Thue–Morse word is 2-regular, and other properties of the 2-abelian complexity, most notably that it is a concatenation of palindromes of increasing length. We also show sharp bounds for the length of unique extensions of factors of size n, occurring in the Thue–Morse word.
متن کاملSimilarity density of the Thue-Morse word with overlap-free infinite binary words
We consider a measure of similarity for infinite words that generalizes the notion of asymptotic or natural density of subsets of natural numbers from number theory. We show that every overlap-free infinite binary word, other than the Thue-Morse word t and its complement t, has this measure of similarity with t between 1 4 and 3 4 . This is a partial generalization of a classical 1927 result of...
متن کاملArithmetic Self-Similarity of Infinite Sequences
We define the arithmetic self-similarity (AS) of a one-sided infinite sequence σ to be the set of arithmetic subsequences of σ which are a vertical shift of σ. We study the AS of several families of sequences, viz. completely additive sequences, Toeplitz words and Keane’s generalized Morse sequences. We give a complete characterization of the AS of completely additive sequences, and classify th...
